Homework

I'm taking a short photography course and we had our first assignment: take some shots in the pottery class next door and submit two for critique. I took about a dozen in the some 5 minutes we had. Here are what I thought were the best:

I agonized over the choice, but ended up submitting the last two. The more I thought about it, the more I thought I should have submitted #2 and #3. But I guess I shouldn't second-guess myself so much and just see what happens in the critique. That's one of the reasons I'm taking the class anyway...

We also had to submit two examples of our previous work--either something good or some problem we usually have for solution. I chose the drinking-from-the-fountain shot from my 01.23.08 post and one other.

I love 2 and three but 4 is still a good shot, it is always hard to decide what to submit of your own work. It would have been fun to get some different angles of the wheel spinning mayeb at eye level. These are all good. I hope you are enjoying the class.

I like all of these--nice motion in the first one and great perspective in the second one. Enjoy your class!

Great shots. the 2nd and 3rd are my personal favorites, but I'm sure you are going to do just fine with the ones you submitted
