Here are a few more shots from the flickr meetup. In one sense, it's a little odd to get together with other people and then spend most of the time on your own with your face glued to a camera. You need a get-together for that? But it's a lot of fun and inspiring to be with a diverse group of people and then to see what they "saw" later.

I like how you can see this bee's little wings going.

I thought this group of iris looked very "fleshy."


These desicated old-fashioned roses really struck me too. Something about those withered, half-eaten petals seemed poetic.
